Effective August 14, 2026. This policy covers this website. Our Restaurant OS application is covered separately.
Binary Restaurant Consulting LLC (“Binary,” “we,” “us”) is a restaurant consulting firm based in Texas. This policy explains what personal information we handle in connection with binaryconsulting.com and our consulting business, and what choices you have.
Our Restaurant OS platform — the application our clients log into — collects a great deal more, because it runs their business data. It is governed by a separate policy provided inside the application.
This website is a static marketing site. It has no accounts, no login, no analytics product, no advertising network, and no tracking cookies. Browsing it is close to anonymous, and we would rather say that plainly than pad this document. The one exception is the booking calendar, which loads only if you choose to open it — described below.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is generated automatically by the infrastructure, is used only to operate and secure the site, and is not combined with anything else to identify you.
Messages you send us. If you email us or book a consultation, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about your restaurant. We keep it to respond to you and to manage the relationship that follows.
Consult bookings. If you click “Book a consult,” we open a scheduling calendar provided by Cal.com. Nothing from Cal.com loads until you open it — the rest of the site stays free of third-party code. If you go on to book, you give Cal.com your name, email address, the time you picked, and anything you write in the booking form. We receive those details, they go on our calendar, and we add you to our prospect records so we can prepare for the call and follow up.
Business contact details for outreach. We maintain records about restaurants and their operators as part of our consulting business — business name, location, a contact name, and business email or phone. These come from public sources, industry listings, referrals, and people who contact us directly.
This website sets no cookies of its own. We use no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking technologies here, so there is nothing to consent to or opt out of. If you open the booking calendar, Cal.com may set cookies of its own inside that calendar to make the booking work; declining simply means emailing us instead.
We send outreach and updates to business contacts using Resend, an email delivery provider. Those messages record whether links in them were clicked, which tells us whether our outreach is useful. Every message identifies us, includes our physical address, and tells you how to stop receiving them. To opt out, reply with “Unsubscribe” or email info@binaryconsulting.com, and we will remove you promptly.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use a small number of service providers, each of which handles data only to provide their service to us:
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes. Correspondence and business contact records are kept while there is an active or prospective relationship, and afterward only as long as we need them for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we sell nothing and run no advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out to exercise.
To make a request, email info@binaryconsulting.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we may need to verify your identity first.
This site and our services are intended for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
